Understanding God's Authority

God asks us to obey authority but only that which keeps us inline with His will. Anything else, even that which appears as legal authority, that is clearly not God's will as clearly not God's plan for 'us' man; is thus, not from Him. Our Lord Jesus Christ would never ask for us to live under authority that reduces men, women and children to slaves of an authority that is not from God.  Jesus would never ask us to put God and others last (family especially) nor would He tolerate a law that asks us to blaspheme the Lord, or to bow down to a dictator who seeks to usurp God's authority. Nor would God ask us to give up our children to a tracking system, nor would God ask us to give up professing our faith in public. Be wise, understand that laws made by men who are not believers in Jesus Christ are laws that are not from Him our Lord and Savior God Almighty ~ Our Heavenly Father.

God's laws are just and have been in place for a very long time. We have to obey them! Read the Bible and know how God wants you to live a good Christian life! ~ Check out 'read' all of Ephesians.

As Paul prayed ~ "...Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparable great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms; far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church which is his body the fullness of him who fills everything in every way." Ephesians 1: 17-23
