Christ died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again!

Thank God, Jesus Christ died for our sins,"for there is no one who does not sin"... 1 Kings 8:46 "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day ... 1COR 15:3 Most importantly, "Christ died for sins once for all,the righteous, for the unrighteous, to bring you to God." 1 Peter 3:18

He Is Risen!

He is risen! If you don't believe that, then there is no point to being a Christian. It is ultimately the foundation of Christianity. Jesus Christ was born to die so that we could be saved. He was not just a nice man telling people how to better live and love their neighbor. Once you embrace Jesus as your Savior and Lord, then loving your neighbor as yourself is natural. We must remember that Christ died for our sins, because this is a fallen world and in order to live eternally with Him, we must accept Him as our Savior, our Creator.
What most people don't realize is that eternal existence is for everyone. However, there will be different kinds of eternity. Those who accept Jesus Christ will live with Him in Paradise and those who don't (by their own choice) will live in another kind of eternity ~ the place where He is not.

Make Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior who is God the Creator of Heaven and Earth, your Choice!

*The greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all your heart!

Parable of the Seed ~ The Seed is God's Word

"This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is God's word. The seeds that fell on the footpath represent those who hear the message, only to have the devil come and take it away from their hearts and prevent them from believing and being saved. The seeds on the rocky soil represent those who hear the message and receive it with joy. But since they don't have deep roots, they believe for a while, then they fall away when they face temptation. The seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life. And, so they never grow into maturity. And, the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God's word, cling to it and patiently produce a huge harvest." Luke 8: 11-15

This is what we are called to do as Christians - be good-hearted people, cling to God's word always and patiently produce a huge harvest.

God does not require us to go about working for our salvation. It comes with believing. Being salt and light means showing others that you believe in and trust in the Lord and that all the world and its tragic events just pass you by as in not disturbing your faith. Being salt and light means being unshaken by the world which has been Satan's since the fall.

"God requires only that you fear the Lord God and live in a way that pleases Him, and love Him and serve Him with all your heart." Dt. 10:12

*We serve Him by being salt and light and in this way, we produce a huge harvest.

God's Commandments ~ Love the Lord your God!

In Deuteronomy, we read about Moses receiving the law - The Ten Commandments.
I am sure you know all ten... what most people 'Christians' don't remember to do is keep them.

Moses repeated to the people..."These are the commands, decrees and regulations that the Lord your God commanded me to teach you. You must obey them in the land you are about to enter and occupy and you and your children and grandchildren must fear the Lord your God as long as you live." Deuteronomy 6

He is the Creator of Heaven and Earth, of all things seen and unseen! There is no thing above Him.

"Love the Lord because He is The Lord our God, the Lord alone. And, you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves, wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." Deuteronomy 6:5-9

Learn ~ Remember that only God Reveals Talents

"Despite having an education system that does not rely on standardized test scores, Finnish students perform extremely well on exams that are given to students all over the developed world.
But now Finland is looking to overhaul its education system and will now focus on more topics and less on subjects. The Finns are calling this "phenomena" teaching. As an example of a student enrolling in vocational courses who may choose to take lessons in "cafeteria services". In this example, the adolescent student would study math elements and languages – for serving foreign customers – while working on writing and communication capabilities."

 Christian Science Monitor ~ March 24, 2015
*It is my educated opinion that this publisher is bringing awareness to the top down beast system.

Christians have talents that should not be hidden. Sometimes we do not know our talent (s) until revealed to us as given to us. Who reveals/gives? God, not man. No man/woman can tell another what his/her talent (s) are or should be. Every man/woman has talent (s) and they are revealed to him, because they were given to him by the Lord God. Remember, St. Patrick as an example. God told him what his talent was and though he waited a long time to become the Bishop of Ireland, he did. St. Patrick's life was devoted to showing people how to prepare themselves in this world for the coming kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Lord God.

Only God gives and takes because everything is His, as He is the Creator of Heaven and Earth and everything in it, seen and unseen ~ Mt. 25:14-30. "My teaching is not my own. It comes from Him who sent me. If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. he who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth:" John 7:16-18 "You know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love , endurance, persecutions, sufferings - what kinds of things happened to me ... You know that The Lord rescued me. So... continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from who you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus." 2 Tim 10-16

Family is important to God!

Though we love our family ~ our First Love must be the Lord God

In 1 Tim 3 we learn how to manage the family.

"... the husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with  proper respect. If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God's church? ... In the same way, wives are to be women worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything."

"... learn first of all to put religion into practice by caring for your own family and repaying parents and grandparents for this is pleasing to God... If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." 1 Tim 5: 4-8

By following what God asks us to do regarding family, we are showing our Love for Him and our trust in Him ... as all are God's children - our family, our children, whom put in our care become our first priority as this is what God asks of us... to take care of what belongs to Him!

Just imagine, if everyone did what God asked.

Living Under an Open Heaven!

What does it mean to live under an open heaven? It  means that you have faith that the Lord God Almighty will provide you with what you need when you need it. You have to let Him know that you believe without a doubt and that you trust Him and by trusting Him, you let Him know that He can trust you. It is like planting a seed; if you don't plant the seed, it won't grow. If you don't trust that your efforts will pay off, then they won't and the seed will not germinate. "Bind on earth and it will be bound in heaven" ~ Mt. 16:19, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" ~ Mt. 6:21.

Don't misunderstand, this is not prosperity gospel. It is about trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ our God Almighty in Heaven so whatever you have, need, or want is possible not because of what you do, but because of what He does ~ that's living under an open heaven!

Understanding God's Authority

God asks us to obey authority but only that which keeps us inline with His will. Anything else, even that which appears as legal authority, that is clearly not God's will as clearly not God's plan for 'us' man; is thus, not from Him. Our Lord Jesus Christ would never ask for us to live under authority that reduces men, women and children to slaves of an authority that is not from God.  Jesus would never ask us to put God and others last (family especially) nor would He tolerate a law that asks us to blaspheme the Lord, or to bow down to a dictator who seeks to usurp God's authority. Nor would God ask us to give up our children to a tracking system, nor would God ask us to give up professing our faith in public. Be wise, understand that laws made by men who are not believers in Jesus Christ are laws that are not from Him our Lord and Savior God Almighty ~ Our Heavenly Father.

God's laws are just and have been in place for a very long time. We have to obey them! Read the Bible and know how God wants you to live a good Christian life! ~ Check out 'read' all of Ephesians.

As Paul prayed ~ "...Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparable great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms; far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church which is his body the fullness of him who fills everything in every way." Ephesians 1: 17-23

Are we living in an anti-Christ world?

It appears more and more that we are living in an anti-Christ world or at least a twisted understanding of Christ and the cross. There are those that say, "Yes, I believe". Yet, they don't understand the cross and that Christ came to save us from our sin and eternal death because of our being born into sin and thus have a sinful nature through being exposed to a fallen 'corrupt' world. The spirit of anti-Christ has been around since Jesus' death on the cross. Not before, though it was prophesied. It has been growing and nowadays, seems to grow very quickly.

Though this is the current situation, we are not to worry. Even in 'end times' Christ asks us to rest in Him. It is wise for us to remain faithful and continue to hope as this reflects our trusting in His promise of eternal life.

Believe in Me ~ Love thy Neighbor

Too many Christians and those with no belief in a creator think that religion is in a building and that it represents faith. I have known many Catholics and Protestants that think like this; instead of identifying Christian, they identify Catholic or Protestant. Christ said where two or more are gathered in my name, there I am. Love thy neighbor and "Put your religion into practice by caring for your family and repaying parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God." 1Tim 4. "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." 1 James 27

Coming together to worship in a building is not the problem. It is as stated above. Let us look at that statement more closely... some think that a certain building housing certain doctrine and ritual represents faith in Jesus Christ- God the Father and Son and Holy Spirit the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and of all things seen and unseen.

If you think that... that a certain building and doctrine housed in it and certain ritual represents faith in Jesus Christ, you are mistaken. Faith in the Creator of Heaven and Earth is not housed anywhere nor has any doctrine other than Believe in Me and Love thy neighbor!

By believing, we are cleansed of our sin. Being clean, we do not want to sin, we do not affirm sin. We struggle to steer clear of sin. We may sin again, but Praise the Lord, Jesus Christ was born to save us from our sin and the greatest of all the sin of death. How? He is the upgrade version, He is clean, compared to us in our filthy rags. Because he is pure, He represents us before God the Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth.

Believing is our work...

The Living God ~ His Sacrifice For Us!

The Living God is the God of Abraham, Issac, Jacob, and Moses, and David. He is the Creator of all things seen and unseen. He is the Creator of all of Heaven and Earth! He sent His Son to die for our sins. Some Christians don't seem to know this. I ask, do you know why you are a Christan? Do you know why Jesus Christ was born?  I am always surprised to hear, I am a Christian because Jesus told us how to live. Yes that is true. But a nice man in a suit could tell you same. God gave the ultimate sacrifice - His Son. Jesus was born to die for us, to take upon himself our sin for all time. Jesus Christ is the atonement and That is huge!

People ask, "what does it mean to be born again?" It means that you know without a doubt that Jesus Christ died for your sins; he has forgiven you %100 because in Christ you are free indeed.

Now that you have such forgiveness, you too must forgive others, no matter what sin they commit. Does that mean you give them freedom to do it again? No. And, they won't if they accept that gift of forgiveness. It is so wonderful and so beautiful and so complete that there is no desire to sin. Though you may, and struggle too to not do it again and run to God every time and ask for and accept His forgiveness. The point being is that you 'yourself' no longer affirm it, you understand it and you deal with it... with the help of Jesus Christ. And, by you forgiving someone, you do not affirm their sin. Forgiveness is the key to understanding God and having a relationship with Him.

Is the Bible the word God?

Is the Bible the word of God?  For Christians, absolutely! Speaking as a sociologist, there is no reason to doubt that it is not. Christians live by that in agreement. Why? Speaking as a sociologist, there is only agreement reality; this is true for 'scientists'. Christians abide by the same principle. Both schools of thought 'Big Bang vs. Creationism' rely on information exchanged and what it means. They both reason that all there is... is basically man's grasping to understand what this world 'social reality' is and means to him/her.

From a Christian perspective, God has given us information to understand this world and what it means. This information is in the Bible ~ it is God's word. There is no need for man to interpret the Bible, only agree that it is the Word of God. By reading the Bible 'His Word' we learn about Him and what He means to us, what this world means to Him and to us.  We should not lean on our own interpretation; because everyone can have an interpretation. Agreement reality means something is agreed to be 'absolutely'... in science "the sun is a star".  We must treat the Bible in the same way.

Contemplating the Creator of Heaven and Earth, we can only imagine that God exits in a higher dimension of being and intellect. Our job is to have faith that we are His creation and that He loves us. The Bible is God's way of informing us of this, so that we can better understand Him through His Word ~ the information He gave us so that we can saved. Being a creation of the Living God, we know that His word has been written in our hearts, mind and soul ~ it is information written in us as a default mode. The Bible is a 'hard' copy of that information functioning as an additional resource to give us a sense of His presence and provide us comfort.

What can we do to spread that word? Simply... We can  share those words and agree that we are God's creation and that he sent His Son to save us.

Jesus Came to Save Us!

Jesus came to here to remind us where we came from and where we need to return to... He came to save us. He is a merciful and loving God. There is no amount of work that you must do. In fact, all He asks is that you rest in Him, trust in Him, have faith in Him. Accept all that He offers which is way more than any government can offer.
Jesus said, " What comes out of a man is what makes him unclean. For from within, out of man's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance, and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man unclean." Mark 7:20

We don't like to think that in our hearts we have all those things listed above, pointed by Jesus. Yes, we have sin, we have evil in our hearts. Because, this is a fallen world. We have sin from the moment that we are born. That is why this world has to be and will be overcome but it is only through Jesus Christ that it can be accomplished for us... not by us.  Jesus came to save us. Praise the Lord!

The Function of Eve is also the Function of Adam

Yesterday I listened to Pastor James Ford Jr. talk about Biblical marriage. Before, he even got to the main point of his message I knew it would be good since Pastor Ford has an excellent marriage ministry. His message was better than good, it was great. Because he talked about the marriage hierarchy as a sociologist would as purposeful function. He reminded us that God does not do things randomly or humorously as in 'lets see if this works... ha ha ha'.
Pastor Ford reminded us that Eve was made from Adam's rib for purpose. She was given a function to fulfill, she had purpose and it was to protect Adam emotionally. Adam of course had purpose too and it was to protect Eve by providing her security and love. He was instructed to be united with her so that could become one flesh.
The Lord God asked Eve to do something particular for Him and that is to submit to Adam. Eve's purpose is to submit her emotions to him as he submits to Him. The wife has a purpose a role to fulfill for her husband.  She takes her emotions to him, and he takes his to the Lord. Pastor Ford added to that by saying that Adam's emotions must be added to by Eve and curbed by Eve. She takes her emotions to him after taking his into her and thus reflects their becoming one flesh. As a wife, Eve's function is to help her husband emotionally as she is suited to that task. She does not hurl at her husband all her emotions as if to say here deal with it. She absorbs his, submits to his, understands his role and purpose and then shares with her husband her emotions which have already been changed by subjecting herself to him first. In this way, they together are better able to deal with emotional experiences in this world.

You see, man - Adam had to do the same as his function is the same in relation to the Lord.  Man - Adam can not and certainly should not hurl his problems on the Lord as if to say here deal with it. Man must first contemplate his function in relation to the Lord's function. Only then could Adam 'man' approach the Lord with his problems which now already changed by his submission to the Lord, his seeking the Lord first in relationship not by making demands or blaming or begging but by seeking to know Him first by being with Him before ...just going off on the Lord.

Wives, seek to understand your husband first in your relationship ~ This is your function. Husbands seek to understand the Lord first in your relationship ~ This is your function!

Christian women ...do not work for things that spoil!

Do not work for food that spoils, work for food that will give you eternal life. Give thanks and praise to the Lord Jesus Christ ~ for He is the Bread of Life!
John 6:27

What does that mean? As if we, Christian Americans, living in a materialistic fleshly 'things' oriented world, do not know what that means. I have been to Home Goods, I see how crowded it is with women buying things. We like to think we deserve those things because we worked for them or maybe our husband's did, somehow we deserve them and or need them. We as American Christians think it is just part of our culture to have things; and, to that I can agree as it is the American world; but it is not the Christian world.. it should not be! Yes, there is the culture of being in and of the 'world'. Most Americans have to have things, to want things, and buy things, and to throw away things and buy new things... I hear "I need a new purse to go with those new shoes. I couldn't wear that dress again. Or, what about me, don't I deserve nice things?"

Ask yourself, will those things give you eternal life? If the answer is no, then why are you in the world of things? Don't live in the world 'culture of consumption'. You may be in it, but you don't have to of it.

Do not work for such things. Work for things that do not spoil; work for food '*things' that give you and your family eternal life ~ The Bread that is Jesus Christ.

*things such as relationships with other Christians, and with the Creator

Preparing for the Rapture ~ Live like Children of God

"I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn't receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it." ~ Mark 10: 15-16

This means that if you don’t look at land live life like a child does (without fear, in total awe, with complete trust, with energetic enthusiasm) you won’t be able to appreciate nor enter into the Kingdom of Heaven? How could you? In order to prepare for the second coming of Jesus Christ ~ Live life like a child, see the world as beautiful and wonderful and be unafraid. There is no need to be afraid, no matter where you are. Because, when the rapture comes you won’t even know what happened only that everything is as it was but even more beautiful and wonderful.
You should be prepared not for bad things but for amazing good things~ as you may be called to do God’s work if not now then very soon. A lot will happen before the rapture, a lot is happening already. Being prepared will allow you to show others that you are not afraid and you are ready to do God’s work, (spreading the Gospel) and that no matter what is going on around you in the world, you still it beautiful and wonderful and that all the thanks, praise, and glory belongs to our Lord God Jesus Christ, the Creator of Heaven and Earth and everything in it.
