Believe in Me ~ Love thy Neighbor

Too many Christians and those with no belief in a creator think that religion is in a building and that it represents faith. I have known many Catholics and Protestants that think like this; instead of identifying Christian, they identify Catholic or Protestant. Christ said where two or more are gathered in my name, there I am. Love thy neighbor and "Put your religion into practice by caring for your family and repaying parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God." 1Tim 4. "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." 1 James 27

Coming together to worship in a building is not the problem. It is as stated above. Let us look at that statement more closely... some think that a certain building housing certain doctrine and ritual represents faith in Jesus Christ- God the Father and Son and Holy Spirit the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and of all things seen and unseen.

If you think that... that a certain building and doctrine housed in it and certain ritual represents faith in Jesus Christ, you are mistaken. Faith in the Creator of Heaven and Earth is not housed anywhere nor has any doctrine other than Believe in Me and Love thy neighbor!

By believing, we are cleansed of our sin. Being clean, we do not want to sin, we do not affirm sin. We struggle to steer clear of sin. We may sin again, but Praise the Lord, Jesus Christ was born to save us from our sin and the greatest of all the sin of death. How? He is the upgrade version, He is clean, compared to us in our filthy rags. Because he is pure, He represents us before God the Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth.

Believing is our work...
