Every meal you cook and eat is a blessing to share with the Lord and your family. It is an opportunity to rejoice and give thanks for. In Deuteronomy, we can read, "Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and oil and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name so that you may learn to revere the Lord your God always... then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the Lord your God and rejoice." Deuteronomy 14:23 and 26.
Give thanks and praise to the Lord your God, ask Him to bless your food and household; by doing so, you are welcoming Him to your table and into your life.
