Growing our Children's Faith- Be Bold

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6: 5-7

Today, this is not easy to do since Satan has taken over public life and is easing into our private Christian life. Largely through mass media - including TV shows and all forms of advertising which is almost inescapable.

That is why, you must be there constantly to guide your children, at least I implore you to do so. These times, we require all ages to be prepared to defend Christianity, and especially to declare that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. Talk to your children and read the Bible to them. Do not be afraid that some Bible passages are too abstract or appear violent. God directed the people of Israel and sometimes that meant being aggressive to fulfill his Word. I don't mean for you to take up the sword, but to be bold in your daily life and show your children that you are bold and they can be too. Most of all don't be afraid in your boldness!
