The plans of the godly are just; the advice of the wicked is treacherous. The words of the wicked are like a murderous ambush, but the words of the godly save lives. The wicked die and disappear, but the family of the godly stands firm. Proverbs 12: 5-7
How to apply that in our life:? I heard a great story today that I think illustrates the above.
A man was on his way home, he was suddenly approach by a young man with a knife. The young man wanted his money. The man (being robbed) said, "here, have my wallet" and he gave it to the young man with the knife. The young man took it and started to run off. Suddenly, the man called out "hey, maybe you need my coat too, its cold outside." The young man came back and asked, "why would you give me your coat?"
The man said to the young man because it is cold outside. The man then invited the young man to eat with him at a nearby cafe. The young man still puzzled went with the man. They sat down and the man ordered all kinds of food. The man seemed to know everyone at the cafe and he did because it was his favorite cafe to eat at.
The young man said, "how do you know everyone?"
The man told him because I like people just like I like you. The young man asked how could you like me, I just robbed you. The man said because I was once like you. They finished their food and the bill came round. The man said to the young man, "you will have to pay." I don't have any money. The young man smiled and gave back the man's wallet, who then paid for their meal.
1 Co 4 Paul said "I should be looked upon as Christ's servant who distributes God's blessings by explaining God's secrets."

Take Authority over your world using God's Words
All to often we forget that we have been given authority here on this earth, though a fallen world, God did not leave us high and dry. He gave us His Word and we have the authority to use it. Be bold and take authority over your situations using the words that God gave us. Refrain from coarse and vulgar or profane words, use words of wisdom. Your household will blossom!

Growing our Children's Faith- Be Bold
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6: 5-7
Today, this is not easy to do since Satan has taken over public life and is easing into our private Christian life. Largely through mass media - including TV shows and all forms of advertising which is almost inescapable.
That is why, you must be there constantly to guide your children, at least I implore you to do so. These times, we require all ages to be prepared to defend Christianity, and especially to declare that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. Talk to your children and read the Bible to them. Do not be afraid that some Bible passages are too abstract or appear violent. God directed the people of Israel and sometimes that meant being aggressive to fulfill his Word. I don't mean for you to take up the sword, but to be bold in your daily life and show your children that you are bold and they can be too. Most of all don't be afraid in your boldness!

Old Testament Wisdom Connecting to the Present
The old testament scares off a lot of people, especially women. They fail to realize that it firstly reveals the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and why he has to come, because we cannot live under the law, which means in our fallen state, we cannot nor ever be like God here in this state. The old testament also has words of guidance which were good for God's creation then and now; and again, in the old we are introduced to the gospel stressing as in the past, present and future the importance of social roles, relationships between people and especially between husbands and wives. For instance, in Numbers 30:1-31:54 we can read the regulations the Lord gave Moses concerning relationships between a man and his wife, and between a father and a young daughter who still lives at home. We are being told about the exchange of information, communication which is about words, word order in the form of vows and pledges, and when they are said 'sent' and heard 'received'. You see, words having meaning and they cannot and should not be taken lightly. This was good advice in the past (old testament) and it is still good advice in the present and will be for the future.

Dear God, Thank you for Listening
Dear God, Thank you for listening to me, the sorrows that bind my heart, the fears that circle endlessly in my mind, the memories that make me yearn for yesterdays long gone. Thank you for listening to me, my constant pleas for relief, my quest to understand, my insecurities and self-doubt about unknown tomorrows. Thank for listening to me as I struggle to regain life's balance as I cautisouly take each step as I seek to creat a sense of now. I only ask that you grace me with the patience to be still and hear your voice to trust the fleeting beacons of hope to know with a deep knowledge that all will be well again.
Thank you for listening. Amen!

Everyone born of God Overcomes the World
"Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God". 1 John 5:22
"Wake up from your slumber because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed". Romans 13:11
Women as children of God, love the father! Do not put your hopes in material things, in authorities that rule who are not children of God. How will you know? Only he/she that believes Jesus is the Son of God.
What can we do as women? Do not be a weak filled woman loaded down with sins and swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth 2 Timothy 3:6 that Jesus is the Son of God!
In past posts, I have stressed that women accept and enjoy the role they have been given in God's order, enjoy your role as wife and mother and being under the authority of your husband, because in this you lift him up. By doing so, in God's eyes, this is recognized as loving the father, love the father as a child, be obedient as a child as a child should be to his/her parents. In this way, you will not be a weak filled woman loaded down with sins and swayed by all kinds of evil desires who is always learned but never able to acknowledge the truth! And, you will overcome!

Godlessness in the Last Days 2 Timothy:3
There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good but treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. 2 Tim:3
Live in God's Imagination
In God's imagination "All things are possible to him that believeth." Mark 9:23
"Through faith we understand the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Hebrews 11:3
"We are in the world but not of it" John 17:16
There are an infinite number of possibilities for your life. Because, we have God given free will, we too have an imagination - a social imagination which allows for this infinite number of possibilities. We have the freedom to choose. God knows the best possible for us and is always there to direct us to it if we just listen and wait for his direction. We can put ourselves on the right dial, frequency, to hear it by reading His Word.
Ultimately, all possibles lead us to the place where God wants us, but some routes will take longer, create more baggage and more trouble than others and certainly more problems if we took the route God has for us. Is there a place where God is not? In there imagined Godless imagination. Some people are already there and will likely stay there. And, that is a dark place. Only they have the power to get out.
Embrace the reality that our imagination is His imagination, wake up (recall and repent = re think) and live in God's imagination, we are already there, just open your eyes to it.

Women Worry too Much... Let Husbands Be your Guide!
Women worry to much, I know because I do. When I do, my husband can see it written all over my face and he asks me what is wrong, sometimes he knows but asks anyway. I tell him. What good does it do to say "oh, nothing"... like most of us say when asked. I think women have a tendency to say "No" first as we want husbands to feel bad as if they were the main cause of our worry. We fail to look at ourselves first!
If you want to get right with God and your life to get right with Him, get right with the role God gave you 'women', put yourself in His hands via your husband's and thank Him (in front of your husband, why so he can see that you trust the Lord's order and are grateful for that and your husband will seek his authority- God)! God rejoices when we acknowledge His order. When we lift up our husbands for being husbands 'our authority' and say how lucky we are to have them, we life up the Lord.He put us under our husbands authority in this world and He did for a good reason, to keep the family together, the most precious thing ever created.

Contemporary Culture Compromising our Faith and Role in Society
Many contemporary women are struggling with their
role and position in society. The rant today is "what about me" !!!! The
dialogue is Me Myself and I. We should be asking - What about men? I
would like to hear women ask, what is the role of women in context of their
relationship with God and men including and especially our husbands. Are
we engaging in dangerous waters? Yes. The question should not be how to get
along in this culture but how to change the culture rather how to get
back to the what the Bible clearly tells us. We should be trying to get
back to families not just treading water where we are. Today's dialogue
is just hens clucking, rather than trying to address the real problem-
why aren't women discussing their problems in context of being Godly
mothers and wives putting their families first. Why women are not
talking in context of their men. Yes, we are hurting men with this kind
of isolated hand ringing feminine commiserating dialogue. The question
should be - How do I go back to being a Godly woman who puts God first, and
her family next, not herself or her career. Yes, unfortunate things
befall us, we should turn to God always and our husbands. Even for
women who do not marry, my advice, ...do not seek to usurp men in your
career/jobs/community, work with them and acknowledge their authority
and encourage them to seek their authority - God!
Speak what is True about You
Speak words which are true about you and true for your future.
Sow a thought, reap an action... put into practice and sow a destiny... Are your thoughts giving you the life you want? Speak the truth over yourself which is what Jesus taught us to do. He told us that matter responds to faith and words. So the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you." Luke 17:6
We have an internal conversation with ourselves and this comes out in our words and actions. Be mindful of what you think about, what you speak 'talk' about and what you do. This does not mean forcing yourself to be nice. It means analyzing what you think, say and do. Do you like what you think, say and do. If not, repent = rethink and try to think, say and do what the Lord intends for you - to be happy and to be loved.
