Rest in His Peace; because, God is in control!

God is in control because in Him we live... move and have our being ~ Acts 17:28. This means that whatever happens we trust that he is Sovereign and absolutely knows what is going on. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.

We can never be wise in our own eyes. It does not mean we lie down in regards to our position to the enemy but we give to God what we can't do for He is the greater power and this is His position...over and above all. If we fail to acknowledge His position, we lack faith in His Sovereign position.

Only a Sovereign God can be absolutely good. In Him, we live, move and have our being...Acts 17:28
In Him, all things were created and all things hold together... Colossians 1:16-17

If He knew you before you were born, he knows you now and knows eternally...so no bad thing has ever really happened or will. Even those things we think are bad like death. But we know He sent His Son and in Him we live...we live while others perish who reject that absolute truth.

When it comes to the Lord, the one who inhabits eternity and who sees the end from the beginning (see Isaiah 57:15 and 46:10), He is always an infinite set of moves ahead. That should give us comfort and faith in the midst of the current crisis. (Make no mistake about it. No matter what side you’re on, we’re in the midst of a national crisis.)

Be of great joy says the Lord for I have overcome the world...That was John 16:33. We don't wage war as the world does...we are prayer warriors and we stand firm in the face of evil...when most would run in fear. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. Romans 5:3

  1. Jesus Christ came to bring us the good news... there is no work for us. He did it all on the cross. So, does that mean we can live in sin? No. Once you are born again, you don't desire that kind of living. Does that mean we don't have to engage in the world? Yes and No. No, because we don't live there anymore... we live in His Kingdom (the one that will come). Yes, because we are called to intercede for those yet in darkness. We are to heal the sick, raise the dead (be salt and light) cleanse the leper (be salt and light) and cast out demons (be salt and light) and do greater things... Spread the Gospel with is greater than any of those and rest in His Peace which is our awaited place in heaven... we can literally be there.

Indeed...Spread the Gospel with is greater than any of those and rest in His Peace which is our awaited place in heaven... we can literally be there... waiting for others to come to the knowledge of God who is Jesus Christ! ..."until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ" ~ Ephesians 4:13. "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen" ~ 2 Peter 3:18.
