The Cornerstone of all Truth ~ There is One God - Jesus Christ!

God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit = Jesus Christ - It is written: "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'" Romans 14:11.

The mystery of godliness deals with - The Godhead.

The Godhead is in Jesus! A child was born and His name is Emmanuel "God with us" ~ Isaiah 7:14; And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace ~ Isaiah 9:6. He is the Alpha and Omega who was/ is and is to come again ~ Rev. 1:8.

He came in the flesh (John 1:14, 2 John 1:7, Romans 9:5) to be our Salvation and salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved ~ Acts 4:12.

Can the Godhead be understood - Yes, Jesus revealed its truth in parables. We read in Romans 1:19-20 "For what may be known about God is plain to them, because has made it plain to them.  For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from His workmanship, so that men are without excuse.…"

The Cornerstone of all truth is that The Lord our God is one God - we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created everything, and we live for him. And there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, God who became flesh. It was through Him that all things were made everything and through whom we have been given life ~ 1 COR 8:6.

The Lord is God and there is no other! In Deut. 6:4. The Lord is God - so that you might know that the Lord is God; besides him there is no other ~ Deut. 4:35. O Israel!" says the LORD. "You are my servant. You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God--there never has been, and there never will be ~ Isaiah 43:10. "Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other ~ Isaiah 45:22.

"You shall have no other gods before me" ~ Exodus 20:3

"See now that I myself am he! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand ~ Deut. 32:29.

"You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me ~ Isaiah 43:10.

Let the Holy Spirit be with you...

Remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.” These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.

What is the experience of praying in the Holy Spirit?  Our prayers are most likely to prevail when we pray in the Holy Ghost (which means) under his guidance and influence, according to the rule of His word, with faith, fervency, and earnestness; this is praying in the Holy Ghost.

And in that, a believing expectation of eternal life will arm us against the snares of sin: lively faith in this blessed hope will help us to mortify our lusts ~Matthew Henry Commentary on Jude 1:19.

Then I remembered the word of the Lord, as He used to say, 'John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit'  ~ Acts 11:16.

Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you--guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us ~ 2 Timothy 1:14.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all ~ 2 COR 13:14.

Be Assured... Trust in the Lord God!

Jesus is Calling ~ Strive to trust God more and more in all areas of your life. Anything that tends to make you anxious is a growth opportunity. Instead of running away from these challenges, embrace them, eager to gain all the blessings He has hidden in the difficulties. If you believe that He is sovereign over every aspect of your life, it is possible to trust Him in all situations.

Don't waste energy regretting the way things are or thinking about what might have been. Start at the present moment accepting things exactly as they are and search for His way in the midst of those circumstances. Trust is like a staff you can lean on as you journey uphill with Him. If you are trusting Him consistently, the staff will bear as much of your weight as needed. Lean , trust, and be confident in Him with all your heart and mind. ~ Psalm 52:8; Proverbs 3:4-6 AMP

Assured ~ God wants You to Be all His!

Jesus is Calling ~

God wants you to be all His. He is weaning you from other dependencies. Your security rests in Him alone not in other people, not in circumstances. Depending only on Him may feel like walking on a tightrope, but there is a safety net underneath: the everlasting arms.

So, don't be afraid of falling. Instead, look ahead to Him. He is always before you, beckoning you on one step at a time. Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation can separate you from His loving Presence ~ Deuteronomy 33:27; Romans 8:39.

Blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see, but they didn't see it. And, they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn't heart it ~ Matthew 13:16-17.

God's Assurance ~ Jesus Christ

"I Go To The Rock"

Where do I go?
When there's nobody else to turn to
Who do I talk to?
When nobody wants to listen
Who do I lean on? Oh
When there is no foundation stable
I go to the rock
I know he is able, I go to the rock

[Chorus:]
I go to the rock of my salvation
I go to the stone that the builders rejected
I run to the mountain...and
the mountain he stands by me
When the Earth all around me is sinking sand
On Christ the solid rock I stand
When I need a shelter I go to the rock

I go the rock when I need a friend
I can go to the rock
I go to the rock when I need a shelter
You can go to the rock
You can go to the rock
You can go to the rock

I can go
I can go to the rock
When I need shelter
When I need a friend
I can go ... yeah, I go to the rock

Assurances of God's Guidance...

The greatest assurance we have is in God's Word the Bible.  In 1 COR 7:17 ~ "Each one must live his life in the situation the Lord assigned when God called him. This is what I command in all the churches". Our assurance is exactly that, we were called and assigned to do His Will.

You see, the rules of Christianity reach every condition; and in every state a man may live so as to be a credit to it. It is the duty of every Christian to be content with his lot, and to conduct himself in his rank and place as becomes a Christian. Our comfort and happiness depend on what we are to Christ, not what we are in the world!

No man or woman should think to make his/her faith or religion, an argument to break through any natural or civil obligations as if it will change the world or culture. He/she should quietly and contentedly abide in the condition in which he is placed by Divine Providence.

This message is very important for us. It is every Christian duty to be content with his/her lot and to conduct him/herself in his rank and place. There is no special or just right place waiting for you: job, house, car, vacation. Too many Christians in America are waiting on the Lord to deliver them just the right place, job, house car, wife/husband/parents... its not true.

There cannot be the just right one in a fallen world. But God does give us the tools we need (the Bible), the strength we need (in His Word) to accept and use and love what we have for his sake! "He guides my paths in righteousness for his name's sake" ~ Psalm 23.

Christians in other countries are just grateful that they found the truth - Jesus Christ ~ Our Greatest Assurance! He is the Bread of Life, the Light of the World!
