The Race Marked Out

Proverbs 17:24-25 "Sensible people keep their eyes glued on wisdom, but a fool's eyes wander to the ends of the earth." What does that mean? It is about discipline. It does not mean that God does not have really great plans for your life including travel. It means that you don't just do things/go places on a whim because it will upset what is already in motion for you. And, who would want to tip that apple cart? Certainly, it does not mean that you should not pray for what you want in life; in fact, you can be shameless in your persistence; but know that God alone will bring you through or bring it to you when it is time...in the meantime, "let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." Heb 12:1
