God Loves you and wants you to know Him better and better… more and more.

The more we have of Him, the more we will be like Him.  The more we will be prepared for His marriage supper!

In these end times, it’s not easy. We have to be strong in the Word, strong in the Lord God Jesus Christ. We have to stand firm in His Word which never changes. It is the same today, as it was yesterday and will be tomorrow ~ Hebrews 13:8.

We have to run the good race, fight the good fight. We do not wage war as the world does… For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.…2 COR 10:3-4.

We tear down arguments, and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.…2 COR 10:5.

Being obedient to Christ makes us soldiers for His Kingdom. How? Again… We tear down arguments, and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.…2 COR 10:5.

Jeremiah 1:10
we have been appointed over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and plant."

Jeremiah 23:29
His word is like fire, declares the LORD, and like a hammer that smashes a rock?"

Romans 13:12
The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

2 Corinthians 6:7
in truthful speech and in the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;

We are to be empowered by His Word, so that we can take up in truthful speech and in the power of God with the weapons of righteousness. We are to show this power as did Jesus. If we speak life, then by the power of The Holy Spirit we can move mountains, we can lay hands and they shall recover.  In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will be made well.” ~ Mark 16:17-18.

Of course, this kind of power does not come to those who yet struggling with sin ...in darkness of Christ's sacrifice...His Mercy and Grace! The kind of power that moves mountains comes by those freed from the law of sin and death. Those born again in Jesus Christ. Those who seek the Lord daily, who walk with Him every moment. Those who are not bothered by this or that thing in this fallen world.

It’s not easy folks but the Word of God shall make you strong! We are to be like Christ. We have to be BOLD! Remember at the pool of Bethesda… the lame man who could not get near the water. … “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am on my way, someone else goes in before me.” Then Jesus told him, “Get up, pick up your mat, and walk.” Immediately the man was made well, and he picked up his mat and began to walk. ~ John 5: 7-9.

The Good News is this….” The Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins..." Then He said to the paralytic, "Get up, pick up your mat, and go home." Matthew 9:6 "I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home." Mark 2:11.

Get up people! Take a stand for Christ. Everyone! Yes, everyone: rich, poor, sick, well, lame or upright, free or in prison. No one born again in Jesus Christ should be sitting around waiting for something to happen or waiting for someone else or blaming someone else.

In these ends of times, we are all able to wield weapons of righteousness! If you serve in a soup kitchen, or second hand shop or prayer center or youth intervention center… I pray you preach such Good News. And, you just might see them take up their mat and go home… knowing that they too have been enabled by the Word of God!

  1. For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power, love, and self-control. 8So do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, or of me, His prisoner. Instead, join me in suffering for the gospel by the power of God.…2 Timothy 1:7-8.
