Sharing A Prophetic Warning for Lukewarm Christians...

God always warns the body of Christ when the devil is planning something against us. In this era, He is sounding an alarm to warn us of a coming move of the enemy that will target lukewarm, worldly and carnal Christians.

This prophetic vision saw a dark, foreboding sky, like a storm was brewing representing trouble on the horizon; the enemy was building momentum to strike and vultures were circling the earth.

As the vision continued, the vultures were circling over the body of Christ, specifically targeting lukewarm, worldly and carnal Christians. They were searching for Christians who refused to repent of the things of this world, who were not fully surrendered to God, and who were spiritually weak due to their lukewarm, worldly or carnal condition.

The Lord made it clear that the agenda of Satan in this hour is to bring destruction to many in the body of Christ by attacking Christians who can't tear themselves away from the things of this world.

In this vision, before the vultures swooped to attack, they defecated on their prey. This put their victims in a spiritual stupor, causing the lukewarm, worldly and carnal to think they were spiritually fine when they were not.

Their hearts became hardened to truth whenever spoken. The final analysis of the spiritual stupor was that they became even more vulnerable to the enemy's attack; their weakened spiritual state became weaker still.

Yet, in this vision, the magnitude of the God's mercy was there. Oh, how He loves His children. Oh, how He wants to protect those in a weakened spiritual state. Oh, how good God is to warn us of the enemy's plans against the body of Christ.

Brothers and sisters, wake up! Heed this prophetic warning! The only antidote for lukewarm, worldly and carnal living is repentance.

There is no middle ground in serving Jesus. It's all or nothing. Run into the arms of your merciful Savior, fall on your knees at the throne of grace and take the enemy's target off your back!

The Word of God is alive and Sharper than a two-edged Sword...

Folks, the Word of God is alive, its bread for the soul/spirit. It is sharper than a two-edged sword. It serves us in more ways than you can imagine. If you read a passage and it seems to cut you making you feel remorse… it’s for your good. Its God (His Holy Spirit) working in you to cleanse you by leading you to repentance. Making you in your spirit as white as snow.

What can be difficult is knowing/accepting that once you give your life to the Lord You are a New Creation in Jesus Christ.  His blood sacrifice covers you so that when God looks upon you, He sees His Son!

It’s the heart that is made new in you. Sure, residues of the past linger on the skin/flesh; but God looks at the heart!  If your heart isn’t right, then you have a problem… just take it to the Lord. Go into your prayer closet and restore your walk with the Almighty Lord God the Creator of heaven and earth the one who knew you before you were even born.  He loves you! Just turn to Him, sing songs of praise to Him and His peace will return to you.

Hate those things which the Lord hates: greed, envy, theft, gossip, drunkenness, sexual immorality, divorce, strife, deceit, malice and certainly murder… If you do hate those things in your heart; then, you do know the difference between right and wrong, you do know what is right in the Lord’s eyes and He is glorified for that; because, His Word is having an effect in you.

Now, if you love (rather than hate) the things of this world: greed, envy, theft, gossip, drunkenness, sexual immorality, strife, deceit, malice and certainly murder… Or you desire and pursue encounters in the flesh such as: sexual or gluttonous, envious, boastfulness or drunkenness? Or are you constantly seek to show yourself off or indulge yourself in the flesh of those mentioned?

If the answer is yes, then you haven’t given yourself to God; you are not living a life that glorifies God. His Word is not able to have an effect in you because you love the world and the things of this world which keep you preoccupied, and engaged with the flesh, producing in you unfruitful works/deeds that are not of the light but of darkness.

If that is not where you want to be… then turn to the Lord God who is the Father and Son Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit, the Creator of all things, the one true God who made man in His image. Hate the things of this fallen world (which God hates) and love what God loves (faith, hope, peace, kindness, mercy, forgiveness) and love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

This situation of loving the things of this world reminds me of the illustration Jesus gave vividly in Matthew and Luke on exactly the problem we have been talking about today… desiring God or loving the world.

Reading from Matthew 19: 16-24 ~ … A man came up to Jesus and inquired, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to obtain eternal life?” “Why do you ask Me about what is good?” Jesus replied, “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.” “Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus answered, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.’”

“All these I have kept,” said the young man. “What do I still lack?” Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”

When the young man heard this, he went away in sorrow, because he had great wealth.
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I tell you… it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again, I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

It’s an illustration of a man who says he wants God but he really wants the things of this world. Now, we can have things, we can and should have money to pay our bills, clothes to wear and food to put on the table but we don’t let those things consume us and we don’t desire them. We desire God; not the world!

God Loves you and wants you to know Him better and better… more and more.

The more we have of Him, the more we will be like Him.  The more we will be prepared for His marriage supper!

In these end times, it’s not easy. We have to be strong in the Word, strong in the Lord God Jesus Christ. We have to stand firm in His Word which never changes. It is the same today, as it was yesterday and will be tomorrow ~ Hebrews 13:8.

We have to run the good race, fight the good fight. We do not wage war as the world does… For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.…2 COR 10:3-4.

We tear down arguments, and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.…2 COR 10:5.

Being obedient to Christ makes us soldiers for His Kingdom. How? Again… We tear down arguments, and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.…2 COR 10:5.

Jeremiah 1:10
we have been appointed over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and plant."

Jeremiah 23:29
His word is like fire, declares the LORD, and like a hammer that smashes a rock?"

Romans 13:12
The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

2 Corinthians 6:7
in truthful speech and in the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;

We are to be empowered by His Word, so that we can take up in truthful speech and in the power of God with the weapons of righteousness. We are to show this power as did Jesus. If we speak life, then by the power of The Holy Spirit we can move mountains, we can lay hands and they shall recover.  In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not harm them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will be made well.” ~ Mark 16:17-18.

Of course, this kind of power does not come to those who yet struggling with sin ...in darkness of Christ's sacrifice...His Mercy and Grace! The kind of power that moves mountains comes by those freed from the law of sin and death. Those born again in Jesus Christ. Those who seek the Lord daily, who walk with Him every moment. Those who are not bothered by this or that thing in this fallen world.

It’s not easy folks but the Word of God shall make you strong! We are to be like Christ. We have to be BOLD! Remember at the pool of Bethesda… the lame man who could not get near the water. … “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am on my way, someone else goes in before me.” Then Jesus told him, “Get up, pick up your mat, and walk.” Immediately the man was made well, and he picked up his mat and began to walk. ~ John 5: 7-9.

The Good News is this….” The Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins..." Then He said to the paralytic, "Get up, pick up your mat, and go home." Matthew 9:6 "I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home." Mark 2:11.

Get up people! Take a stand for Christ. Everyone! Yes, everyone: rich, poor, sick, well, lame or upright, free or in prison. No one born again in Jesus Christ should be sitting around waiting for something to happen or waiting for someone else or blaming someone else.

In these ends of times, we are all able to wield weapons of righteousness! If you serve in a soup kitchen, or second hand shop or prayer center or youth intervention center… I pray you preach such Good News. And, you just might see them take up their mat and go home… knowing that they too have been enabled by the Word of God!

The Word of God Speaks! Let God’s Word speak to you…

Even though you may attend a 'well attended/intended' group Bible study... its not enough. It can provide some spiritual food/fellowship; but, its not enough.  You must make every effort to take time every day to read and digest the Word of God for it is bread, and it is life.

This world is passing away. The world isn’t changing like some think. It looks that way perhaps because of what appears to be modernization through technology. But, civilizations before our time, had technology that appeared to change the world. As Solomon said, there is nothing new under the sun; especially when it comes to this fallen world and any attempt to know in our fallen human condition.

What we can know is that God’s word does not change it does not pass away! Because of that knowledge, we have no excuse to see that this world is fallen and everything in it but even as a fallen creation we can know God’s Will for us revealed in His word.  So, don’t waste time with people who are not into God’s Word.

How are people wasting time? They are engaged in fruitless works/deeds.  “Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them”. Ephesians 5:1. Those unfruitful works/deeds are sin in the flesh and such work produces no good thing in the spirit. They produce no good thing in your spirit nor in anyone else’s. So, Woe to the world for the causes of sin. And though These stumbling blocks must come, woe to the man through whom they come!

If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than to have two hands and two feet and be thrown into the eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell ~ Matthew 18:7-9.

But, Are we our brother’s keeper? If your brother sins against you, go and confront him privately. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, regard him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.

Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.” ~ Matthew 18:15-20.

“In You, O LORD, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame; save me by Your righteousness. Incline Your ear to me; come quickly to my rescue. Be my rock of refuge, the stronghold of my deliverance. For You are my rock and my fortress; lead and guide me for the sake of Your name.…” Psalm 31:1-3. The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. Psalm 34:10.
