What is the Great Commission?
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has
been given to Me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you
always, to the very end of the age." ~ Matthew 28:18-20.
What is the Trinity? = Father/Son/Holy Spirit!
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and
only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For
God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the
world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does
not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name
of God’s one and only Son". ~ John 3:16-18.
"The one who comes from above is above all; the one who
is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The
one who comes from heaven is above all. He testifies to what he has seen and
heard, but no one accepts his testimony. Whoever has accepted it has certified
that God is truthful or the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for
God gives
the Spirit without limit. The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in
his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects
the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them". ~ John 3:31-36.
"Yet a time is coming and has now come
when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth,
for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God
is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John
4:23-24.
“Very truly I tell you, the Son can do
nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because
whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the
Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even
greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. For
just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives
life to whom he is pleased to give it. Moreover, the
Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever
does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him" ~. John
5:19-23.
